Hello Phonograph Enthusiasts,
While traveling recently, my wife and I ran across an old phonograph that had been in a B&B for years. We were offered the chance to buy it and we did! It is an Edison S19 with about 20 records and the oroginal Oiler and a small Carmex sized container of grease. The machine plays wonderfully and sounds spectacular, but i notice a little bit of noise (a dull mechanical growl coming from under the turntable when it is running. I am new to the world of old phonographs and want to do all I can to preserve this wonderful piece of history. I am looking for any available resources on the care/repair and maintance of this machine and for the records themselves. Does anyone have any recomendations?
