Book Description
This book was originally part of a much larger project by Tim Gracyk who in 1995, began compiling facts that were scattered in many sources: record catalogs, trade journals, newspaper clippings, hobbyist magazines, and other sources. He also received invaluable research donated by other collectors of vintage records.
In the year 2000, about half of the original manuscript was published by The Haworth Press under the title Popular American Recording Pioneers 1895-1925. The book published by Haworth includes only about half of the original manuscript due to its very large size.
The remaining, unpublished entries are now available in this book as a pdf download.
