can anyone help?my father has requested me to try and find an old 78 the problem is he doesnt remember the artist or title!i know this a tall order but as he is getting on he would really like to find it before he goes!!all he can remember are some lyrics the chorous i think?they go(if you want to be ape man,go ape)

Any help will be gracefully recieved

There is an old song (1959) by Neil Sedaka called "I Go Ape". I don't know if this is it but if you google "Sedaka" and "Go Ape", you will see a few sites that have the lyrics.

The record you are looking for is "Ape Call" by Nervous Norvus, recorded in 1956 and I believe it was on the 'Dot' label.
