I have a suitcase Brunswick phonograph with brass player arm & brass medallion with "Panatrope Experimental #106. Anyone know anything about it. I am in ignorance about these machines but eager to learn. Thanks for any information.

Hello;
I don't know anything about an experimental portable model, but I can tell you this much:
In November, 1925, Brunswick unveiled it's new all-electric phonograph called the Panatrope. It came in several different models (with prices to match) with and without radios. This information comes from Roland Gelatt's excellent book "The Fabulous Phonograph."
I know it's not much, but maybe it will be helpful.
Sincerely,
RickPosted 4 months ago #
