Can you help a 78 rpm newbie?
Looking for a turntable - anyone have any experience with the Rek-O-Cut CVS-14?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, doctorf2, My favorite place to buy anything related to 78s or vinyl records is http://www.kabusa.com . KABUSA offers several 78 turntables in various price ranges. The best is the Technics 1200 MK2 that has been professionally modified to include 78RPM speed. It's rugged and of high quality for playing the finest vinyl 33s, too. Be sure to get a cartridge and stylus for 78s as the 78 grooves are wider than 33s. You will need a cartridge that accepts 3-5 grams tracking force required by 78s. the kabusa website has lots of helpful guidance in selecting components.
